South Carolina Maritime Museum Summer Art Camp

Join us for a creative and fun-filled summer at the South Carolina Maritime Museum’s Art Camp! Young artists will explore different art techniques while drawing inspiration from maritime history, the beauty of the Lowcountry, and the spirit of the sea.

Camp Dates:

  • June 9-12
  • June 16-19
  • June 23-26

Schedule:

  • Morning Session: 9 AM – 12 PM (Ages 5-8, max capacity: 6) $175
    • Campers will create and take home their own maritime-inspired art projects each day!
  • Afternoon Session: 1 PM – 4 PM (Ages 9-12, max capacity: 12) $225
    • A unique opportunity for older artists! Participants will collaborate on a special project to paint the newly repaired floors of the Maritime Museum – creating artwork that will be on display for visitors to enjoy.

Each session is designed to encourage artistic expression while fostering creativity and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. The afternoon session offers a more in-depth experience as participants contribute to a temporary but meaningful exhibit at the museum.

South Carolina Maritime Museum Friends will receive priority registration and a $25 discount on each child’s registration.
